The comments I tried to make.

I have nothing against Doug’s auctions and in no way have tried to stop them from happening.

I think Doug is a great guy who has done wonderful things for the hobby.

I was even a subscriber to chip chat for many years.

What my comment was referring to is there are plenty of other events happening during convention week like the auction, open houses in peoples rooms and other things that take place every year that no one seems to have a heartache with.

That’s why I didn’t understand why people had a problem with the trade sessions as I never saw them taking away anything from the convention.

Regardless, I had a long talk with Walt this evening and I now understand better where the issues lie.
I will take that up with a few board members and see how we can solve that in a way that benefits everyone.

Again, not knocking Doug or the auctions, just using that as one example.
