I am any of the Vice President race.
I have no dislike for the SNCCC and never said they did anything wrong.
I said there were several member of the SNCCC that would appear to be making a coordinated effort.
That doesn’t mean that the SNCCC is behind this or that even most of the members agree.
I do know that several of the people who cancelled usually share a table with you so I assumed that you decided to not have a table either as you are usually there. My apologies if I got that wrong.
By the way, I consider myself friends with those people as well as you so I didn’t mean to say anything negative about them.
I am a fan of Jerry and always have been. I also consider Jerry a good friend and always supported him.
In fact the ONLY reason I continued doing the Raffle this year was because Jerry convinced me to do it for another year as I didn’t want to leave him without someone.
You forget that I too was the President of the CCA and on the Board longer than Jerry had been. There is no doubt he worked hard and did a lot of good for the club. But so did I and many others before me.
I know better than most what work was involved and can appreciate that.
I still believe the comment that the trade sessions are a major problem causing dealers to not renew is a false narrative. I completely agree that without the dealers, there is no convention and the club has tried its best over the years to balance the requests of the dealers as much as we could to still allow the attendees the best possible convention experience.
I sincerely hope that helps explain better my reasons behind the post.
Thanks
