I see that we are back to having 5 trade sessions during the convention. That's fine, why not increase to 15 or 20 trade sessions, that would really make these folks happy. Maybe even extend the convention an extra 2 or 3 days for additional trade sessions. If anyone thinks that supporting these trade sessions is a great idea, I got some bad news for you. As it stands right now, we are not gaining new dealers, your losing them. How many have cancelled their tables since this fiasco started ? And how many more are you going to lose in the future ? In fact maybe we should change the name of the organization, to the ANNUAL CCA TRADE CONVENTION.
So you have 3 or 4 people that will not attend the convention, because their was only going to be 1 trade session. Well ant't that sad. So instead you will start losing 10 to 15 paying dealers, that really makes a lot of sense.
Jerry Vergatos was a great president, with great ideas to move this club forward. Unfortunately he had a board, that was not willing to support him. They are committed to maintaining the status quo. Unless we make some major changes to move this organization forward, things are looking grim for future expansion. Look at the membership numbers.
