I've taken it upon myself to create a new discussion board at https://chipcollectors.org. It's modern, flexible, modifiable, can be restricted and moderated by multiple people, has anti-spam features, and a place to store documents and notices, etc. I can change the theme (look/feel) and add supported features as well. An account is required to participate, but only requires validation by email. Later, I will probably restrict certain areas of the board to CCA members only, which will require approval by the membership chairman/committee.

I've taken the liberty to create categories I think you'll all find suitable and appropriate for the types of discussions we have here. You can buy/sell/trade, get ID help, discuss history, tell stories, be funny, post comics with bewbs, and more. There's even a place for you to be a mean-spirited, raving lunatic to spew vitriol at other members or anyone you like. Best thing about it... it's separate from the saner parts of the board so no one has to listen to you.

Be sure to respond to the simple yes/no poll I posted in the General Discussion area.

Yes, I realize the domain name is chip-specific. Don't let that hold you back from posting about other collectibles. There's no restriction that this be chip-specific, in spite of the name.

Yes, I own the domain, the server it's on, the content I've created so far, and yes, my rules apply. I intend to ask qualified members to help moderate the board, and down the road, I might be persuaded to make this a club-owned site. But for now, this is all about me (well me showing y'all how it's done), I rule the roost and get to play the role of benevolent dictator, so deal with it.
