I wanted to explain in my own words why I personally believe that David should be considered for the next CCA president.

Let me start by saying I am a fan of Jerry Vergatos and consider him a good friend.
I didn’t want to see Jerry resign but regardless it happened anyway.

So, where do we go from here?

Well in my mind there is only one person left on the current board who is not only willing to do the job, but he has all the club knowledge for it to continue.

Whether you like David or not (no knock to David, but even he knows he rubs some people the wrong way), there is no denying his dedication to the club and his long standing history of volunteering.

While I don’t mean to knock any other candidates, there is absolutely no other person running I know of that has more experience with the club.

I know some people are not going to like me saying this but for me I have given too many years of my life trying to see this club succeed to see it end now.

There are a lot of people who will vote in this election based on friendships or personal connections, but no matter who I am friends with, I want even more to see the club continue moving forward.

I am ready for all the conflicts and disagreements to stop.

I didn’t want to see us in the position we are now in, but we are and need to start moving forward again.
