At this time I will have to decline any nomination to run for the CCA board. I have stayed off the board but have read everything that has been posted in the past few weeks and at this time will remain silent.

For those who do not know I am currently a board member of the ANA and dealing with a budget of 5 million, a staff of over 30 and a membership of over 20K plus my other duties within the ANA. I have also been appointed an instructor at their 'Summer Seminar' which starts the Saturday on the last day of our convention.

Our board meetings last between 4 and 5 hours a month via zoom and longer at any convention.

If I felt that I could balance multiple items on my plate at this time I would have considered helping out the CCA but currently I have enough on my plate. I have always given my all whenever I have taken on a position in a non-for-profit organization and will never take on so much as to give any less.

So for those at looking to me to run there are others out there that can give you their all at this time!
