I was 50 years old when this club was formed and I served as the founding President for 11 consecutive years. I am now an old geezer of 83 and still committed to this hobby. I have seen lots of “flash in the pan” people of all ages come and go. You are either interested in the hobby or you are not. Those who are genuinely interested usually hang around for awhile. Those who are in it for a quick buck usually leave after they discover the road is not paved with rare chips. Personally, I am going to support those who take an active roll in contributing to the club over years of involvement, not just because they are a “young person”.’
