The issue with (where we are now) has to do with "us" operating with an organizational structure that is
not adequate for what our organization has become. This same crap keeps happening, over and over and over.
In my opinion, Jerry was as good as you can get. Sad to see others tear him down. Our BOD positions were designed
to be short-term, causing transient behavior for the organization. The current organizational structure is a social club
structure. We need to change this or the same result will just keep happening. These full member elections are not good.
The "all-volunteer" organization structure needs to change too if we ever want to be taken seriously as an organization.
Some things worked well in the past but it is not the way this organization can ever grow into a sustainable future. Our
membership runs this club/organization/501c3 and can derail or tear it down whenever they want.
In my opinion, an organization like ours should be responsible to the general public for fulfilling the mission of education and
programming, not pleasing its membership about whatever anyone wants to complain about. The hobby really needs a new 501C3 organization started from scratch that is dedicated to education and growing the hobby. No BS... No Club Crap...
No personal profiting by Board Members, and No Membership.
