I believe that when the President resigns the VP automatically gets the job until the next election. That is how I became VP in the early 2000's. I always enjoyed being on the board but at my age I do not want to take on the hassles that go with being President. I would consider being VP which is what I ran for a few years ago if the position needs filling. I did not run this time because Jerry made it known that he wanted as much of the board as possible to live in Las Vegas.
