I stopped by this place shortly after they opened and picked up a few chips. Unfortunately, I have sold or traded all my extras. It was a pretty short lived operation. The place had previously belonged to a lady named Ginny. She had a single card table and had done reasonably well in the early days - there was a bar and dance floor in the building. She had fallen on hard times by the time the Golden State took over the building. She still had the one table in the back where she dealt mainly Lo-Ball. She said it was hard to get enough players to have a game. Most of the room was taken up by a bunch of second hand stuff she had for sale. She had a great story - she had managed to support her family with the income from the place. She was a joy to talk to.
