Definitely a Traversi Mystery!
My best guess, Traversi Hotel was either a typo or someone trying to explain that a Mr. Traversi played cards at or near some unspecified hotel.
However - I submit the case of a luckless Mr. Traversi who was caught red handed - or should I say, red-wine-handed, in his "hotel" by Prohibition Agents. Case closed!
