A few years ago a blind player played in the World Series of Poker, and some time after that, I played against him in a cash game at Bellagio. He had a guy sitting next to him who would whisper the cards he had into his ear, and either he or the dealer would announce the cards on the board as they came out. He seemed to be quite aware of where the button was, etc.
