The state of TN is issuing new license plates this year after 10 years with the old ones. Yesterday they announced that they are stopping production of the new plates. Why? Apparently, in keeping with being a backward state with idiots running it, they never tested the new plates to see if they work with the license plate readers that have become so popular in not only finding criminals but also sending you a ticket for speeding without you knowing why. Apparently the reflective coating on the new plates....isn't. So the readers can not see them at night. Welcome to hillbilly heaven!
