I was trying to get some info on authentic James Bond casino royale chips used in the movie. And info on the ones I purchased a year after the movie came out. I collect movie props and I started to aquire James bond movie props . I purchased was a playing card from the movie casino royale. I wanted actual screen used chips from the movie. I spoke with Robert Eisenstadt who said he was able to aquire some. I then purchased chips from Robert Eisenstadt and his company Antique Gambling Chips. This was like 14 years ago. I purchased a small quantity of the 5k,25k, and 100k chips. I saved his business card and package Robert Eisenstadt sent me with the USPS lable from him with the date it was mailed. This was 14 plus years ago and and certificate of authenticity was not included at the time. Just the assurance and stated connections of a reputable seller and well know chip authority. I thought I should contact Robert Eisenstadt to get some sort of certificate of authenticity especially since I saw he sold additional casino royale chips that were not screen used. When I went to contact Mr. Robert Eisenstadt I sadly saw he had passed away. It appears Mr. Robert Eisenstadt was well known and will be missed. Due to Mr. Eisenstadt unfortunate passing I do not know who to contact about the chips. I am glad I saved his business card and the shipping envelope the chips were sent in but Is there a way to have them authenticated now? Was there any differences with the screen used chips?
