I agree that the government should come out with a law stating that all fees and charges (excluding taxes) need to be in the stated price UNLESS you can opt out of the charge. In the case of the hotel room, we can't opt out of the charge so it should be part of the price. In the case of the airlines, charge a fee for checked baggage because I can choose not to check a bag, however, you can charge me for taking a bag onto the plane because it would be a given that you would have to travel with some type of bag. The extra fees are ridiculous.
