The federal govt should just pass a new truth in advertising bill. If you want to advertise your hotel room for sale then all included charges need to be posted. If you claim your soap is better than someone elses then you can make the claim after an independent lab proves it. If you advertise your hamburger on TV then the one you serve needs to look just like the one on TV. That was the one good thing about being in Japan - they normally had either a real or a plastic version of most meals in the window. If you ordered that meal, the plate they served looked just like the one in the window.
