Convention Dealers

Hi to all 2022 Convention Dealers.

It is time to start thinking about this year's Convention.

There is a link for the contract for the 2022 Convention.

General Information

Location We will again be using Convention halls C & D like we did last year. The Banquet will be held in Hall D also like last year. We will again be allowed to use the large space behind the hall. There will be more activity in that particular space as I am soliciting more vendors and attempting to get Casino Equipment manufacturers to have displays of new and upcoming products. Similar to a mini G2-type show. I have tried this in the past and will continue to pursue this idea.

Protocol As of Today, the curtains used between the dealers will not be there. Of course, if there is a mandate we will have to comply. This is a very fluid situation. More information will be given out closer to the Convention.

Spacing
There will be a 3ft spacing between the tables similar to last year My thoughts are that the spacing gave the dealers more space in the front of their table to accommodate more customers as well as a better access point to get behind your table. Having that extra space made our Show look a lot bigger and utilized the massive space better.

Contract Please, Please, Please PRINT clearly all the information on the Contract. I had a hard time with some of the handwriting and I don't want to make any mistakes with the information. The information from the Contract will be entered into a database as the information goes to different Convention Chairs. When completing the contract please make sure the membership numbers are stated as well as the location where you and your helpers are to pick up the registration packets. Chairs You will notice that I have increased the number of chairs for the tables A standard table will
now have 3 chairs included in the rental and a corner table will now have 5 chairs. Additional chairs will also be available for the usual $5. You may set up the chairs anyway you wish either by having one in the back and two in front or vise versa. Your choice. You are welcome to bring your own personal chairs as long as they are placed behind your table and not In front.

Display Cases If you are interested in renting our display cases I would ask when you are finished with them you remove any liners you placed there as well as have the keys left with the unit.

Electricity You are welcome to contact me with any electrical needs you may have or you can contact South Point directly. The rates may have changed from this year. You will need to wait for the layout to come out to inform them of your location.

Dealer Placement. This dealer placement is based on the loyalty point system used. This system is used with preference to seniority points determined by the past number of tables rented and the number of times the dealer has been present at the past conventions. There are 2 deadlines one for the point system to be counted, the contract must be received by January 31 with the payment, please refer to #10 in the contract. Your placement in this year's Convention may not be exactly the same as last year as some dealers did not attend the Convention Their points may still be high enough to allow them to regain their usual location on the floor. The final deadline referenced on page 5 is April 1, 2022.

Decorations I want to show a lot of excitement when the Hall doors open for our show. I am planning on having ballons and stand-up cutouts on the floor. Anything you can do to make our show more eye appealing would be great. Our theme is Dueces Wild which is a play on 2022 the year of our convention. I will donate an engraved Woodford Reserve bourbon bottle to the dealer who promotes their booth the best.

Advertising Our publicity director Brad Smith will be putting together another great advertising campaign. We are looking at possible TV spots as well as the Radio Spots and the Live radio feed in the Convention Hall like this year.
