A liquor store near me does that every year around Christmas. The have a party at the store with free food and drinks and then a drawing where you can buy any of about 20 rare bottles of booze. The one time I went there were enough bottles that I figured that I had a one in 10 or 20 shot at getting one. Of course my name was not drawn.
