Hello all, new to this forum… got wind of it via posts on the Poker Chip Forum (PCF) where I’m known as PokerDogDoc.

I’ve been playing small stakes friendly home games and local poker leagues of NLHE for just 4 years now and have really enjoy the higher levels of strategic thinking possible in the game.

Over the past 6 months, I’ve started picking up some collectible chips… and I’ve not realized it until now, but I’ve actually used the ChipGuide portion of this group of sites to help identify several illegal casino chips that I’ve obtained since moving to my new hometown of Jeffersonville, IN 5 years ago.

I looked through the forum pages and read some of the “about” info, but I still have a few questions:

It seems that I could just enter my info and post here… Is there a registration and login for this site that I should be using?

It looks like the focus is primarily casino chips, but are there some folks interested in vintage non-casino chips on here, too?

Specifically the old non-denominated inlay chips from the 30’s made by USPCC, Burt Co, etc… I’ve become a fan of the old “Comet” pattern (and a few others), and am working on gathering enough of them to make a working cash and tourney set for my monthly home game.

If I wanted to post a “wanted” or “sale” notice, do those occur on a specific section of the forum, or just an entry here on the top page?
