~~~ Gambling it would be nice to know, but I do not find such information in historic accounts from their early days, onward, and into the early-1900's. Nothing in English, anyway, and that is why I wonder if the ELIE catalogue references gambling there, because on one of the French forums someone mentioned ELIE has a 5 CENT jeton from Café de la Paix and no other info and I did not want to jump in and ask a question relating to gambling when they were in serious conversation about metallic jetons.
