This writer was the evening Newscaster for WARC, Allegheny College Radio, Meadville, PA, on Saturday nights back in 1971-72. "I had the face for radio" as the saying goes, and besides, nobody else wanted to give up their Saturday nights to read from the teletype. When I left the air - graduated college - I don't know who took over, probably there is just a half hour of static now before Tom Wells comes in to do his late-night Rock Show. (Don't know if Hippie Tom graduated or not!)
