I tried to convert a Video disk to "Movie Maker" to display on our monitors but when I played the conversion it was not the disk I had inserted in the computer disk tray. No problem, I will just remove the disk and play it in our DVD player. But when I touched the eject button the tray opened but my disk was not there. In disbelief I opened and closed the tray several times. No disk. Fortunately we had a backup disk so was able to play it in the DVD player.

Reported the incident to the installer of the equipment and he had a terse one word response "IMPOSSIBLE". Well that was kinda what I thought, but where is the disk?

Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Where can the disk be? Anybody have any answers?
