My granddaughter is a MAC user - table top and laptop, she is in Michigan State U not in Las Vegas right now.

My suggestion is to get it to the shop and check how much is it to 'save' the files and convert them or download them for conversion process. You can save if you got a friend who uses - PC & MAC, he can easily do it.

Then try to save the iPod with the MAC - is simply to reformate it with MS compatibility.

You are lucky if both of them can be reformatted and be usable - in the MS format.
