The first chip yu reference was submitted years ago (2013) by Jim Noll. Jim is no longer with us, but he was a super avid ShuffleMaster collector. I even asked my wife to attend a Shufflemaster Board meeting, here in Las Vegas, to cast a proxy vote for Jim and perhaps get any "ShuffleMaster" branded goodies. (Turns out it was a coffee cup.) Jim is the contributor of this chip, and back in those days, there was not an emphasis, as there is now, to denote "same on both sides". And yes, that chip is the same on both sides.
In 2014, Don Tasse contributed the other chips, which uses some of the same artwork, but both sides are decidedly different.
If you go to my scans, you can see this difference right away. I thank you for pointing out this confusion spot, and I have altered the one chip as "same on both sides" in the comments.
Jim
