I missed seeing the El Morocco by a couple of years but did get to the El Rio, Town Tavern,
People's Choice and Moulin Rouge. I once asked a black dealer I worked with at the Hacienda
to go with me to some West Side clubs and he said no way! I once found a poker wheel full of
old chips at a flea market and several of the tubes were 25 cent and $5 T-mold El Moroccos!
You don't see too many exterior shots of these West Side joints.
