So did my husband...though he probably wouldn't use the same word . We met up with him as often as possible and purchased some of his ashtrays and plates. He was a one of a kind... .

The last couple of times we saw him, he showed us some license plates that he was collecting. As I recall, they were Purple Heart license plates, and he was trying to get one from every state. I'm sure I took some pictures of his collection, but I have a new computer and haven't totally figured out the finer points of searching on it....it doesn't work the same as my 2012 Mac did!
