No reason to have a chip club because we can join the ANA? What?
Yes, we could join a club where the vast majority of the members don't care about out hobby (and the vast majority of those never will). Yes, we can join a club where the vast majority of the members probably look down upon chip collecting as an inferior subpart, if that. Yes, we can join a club where the magazine is almost completely irrelevant to our hobby. Yes, we can join a club where the convention barely has any casino related items and most of the people you will meet don't care at all about our hobby. Yes, we can join a club that completely excludes all non-chip/token casino collectibles.
If everyone takes this advice, no more CCA magazine, no more CCA convention. Don't you think the convention plays a significant role in the collecting world. I have never been to one and I don't believe that at all.
I don't think you thought out this post. And if you meant to say something different, you should have been a whole lot clearer about it. You post can only be harmful to the CCA.
