Not Bakalite or C&S, either, but rather a clay composition die-cut inlay. Crest and Seal chips are litho inlay though, C&S chips can have a die-cut reverse with numerals for value purposes and, there is nothing wrong with calling a lammer a value chip no matter what the finished size since not all gambling die-cuts and C&S chips are 39 mm and, I have had several gambling chip sets made up with all being lammers.
