The one on the left always makes me think of the bidding war that I watched on ebay!

We'd recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas. One of the things we bought was the ashtray on the left, with a few other ashtrays and a couple of plates, and we paid $500 for everything. We saw that ashtray come up on ebay and watched it, to see how good of a deal we'd gotten . Long story short, in the last 30 minutes of the auction 2 bidders got into a bidding war and drove the price up to $3500!!!! The person who won the auction had only been buying ashtrays for a few months at that point...and I don't think he ever bought another one. Next thing I knew, he was buying Rolex watches instead!!
