~~~ I will still have to drop my complete bumper assembly which I wouldn't even attempt to do. One of the local Ford body shops does all the Palm.Beach County Sheriff's Office units and I'll let them do it since most PBSO units are exactly what I have. I'll buy the part directly from them for a lot less. I'm keeping the unit since it has less than 30,000 miles (2015) and has everything I need. It was under warranty when I bought it and I purchased the extended Ford bumper-to-bumper warranty. They just replaced the motor on my sunroof which involved 4 days labor; dropping the headliner, pulling the pillas and dome assembly and all I paid was a 100-bucks deductible and $100 toke to the mechanic. When I picked up the unit 4 days later it looked like nobody even touched it. Perfect job.
