Hi Everyone; just a note to let all of you celebrating Labor Day on Monday know, I am going to double up on all of my special stuff, 2 Feature chips from NV, 2 Feature chips from CA, 2 NV Post Cards, 2 pages of CA Chips and 10 sets or partial sets and 10 single chips. Odds are much better tomorrow to find something for your collections while scrolling through the CG posts.
Oh and by the way news from the home front, Nancy and I spent the last 6 days getting and getting rid of the COVID from CHINA! Never forget! And here is the rest of the story. We had a roofing contractor in our home to sign final papers to allow us to get a Free Roof from (our ins. co.) Irma (and yes, that is another great story) and along with a friendly 2 hour discussion and Q’s and A’s, he passed COVID on to Nancy first, not saying anything about that ha ha. We really like Rick (A good ole boy from Texas) he works for Universal, some of you might have heard of them, and during the discourse, he casually mentioned that his office was inundated with COVID and he isn’t even going in to it any more; he is doing every thing on the ‘puter. Our insurance Company was one of the worst when it comes to paying off. (that is why we had him come over to see us)
Well, a couple days later Nancy was sneezing her head off, she has allergies as do I. She went in to the doc and (Erin) talked a bit to her said she would like to test her for COVID and did so. Nancy comes home starts wiping every thing down with an of armful Clorox wipes, tells me the test will be back in 48 hours, and if she wanted it to be the rapid test it would be $100. I hit the aforementioned roof I spoke of. I said let’s get back in the car we are going back and get that test done now. They rapid tested her, it was positive. They did the regular one on me, yeah I got the 48 hour special.
At the Dr’s office we were told about the nations first Regeneron Clinic that had set up in a recently abandoned library building; Nancy and I watched our Governor commission it on TV just a couple of weeks ago. What a blessing; we went and got our 4 shots, one in each arm and one each side of our belly’s. (This was the conversion they made from doing this with an IV in a hospital) This happened on Thursday, and we both had a very bad reaction (that stuff is powerful) and a very bad night, a much worse than the reaction than when we got the original 2 vaccine shots on the 1st of Feb and Mar but, every hour we are feeling better and better. To set your compasses Nancy is 74 and I am 78. Tonight (Sat. nite) I am back on my regular routine, staying up late and sleeping late…Nancy says hey ya’ll … Reggie
PS any questions on this stuff, send them to my email, all grammatical errors are partially due to the above
