A teacher staying 6 feet away from their students is very difficult. Most students have questions about what they are reading in a book, a math problem, or anything they are working on practically on a daily basis that requires the teacher to get close enough to the student to see what it is they are asking about. My wife is a retired teacher and early on she thought that this very thing was going to be a problem for educating students especially with the reluctance to wear masks in some places.
