Does anyone else remember that the original planned name for Gold Shore was the Gold Coast? I was a regular visitor to Biloxi back then, and the sign was there for the longest time: “Gold Coast Casino Opening Soon”. I eventually found a phone number for them, and every time I called, they gave me a different opening date. Then they finally opened with the other name, maybe because of pressure from the Las Vegas casino? Even though I was a regular visitor to that area, by the time I got back there, they were closed, LOL. Anyone know what their problem was?
