I am sorry to report that an old friend of mine - William "Bill" Miller - Charter Member #98 of the CCA passed away about 2 weeks ago. I just got an email from his Son informing me of Bill's passing.
I met Bill at the First CCA Convention in 1993 and we became friends.
For several years in the mid 1990s Bill and I traveled together all over Nevada attending the Conventions and collecting chips for our collections.
I will always cherish the time I spent with Bill at his home in Kentucky, at my home in Delaware, in New Jersey, Mississippi and other areas attending various Chip Shows and visiting Casinos.
Bill had a great collection of Bud Jones - Coin in Center chips and also Brass Core chips but had not been active in the Chip collecting community for many, many years.
Bill had also served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Rest in Peace - My Old Friend. I will never forget you and the good times we shared together.
