Could it have had a different name and the artwork on the postcard of an original rendering and maybe an uncompleted building at the time and the postcards being all ovedprinted or some other type of modification...?
Early history in 1946 is unclear.to me; something about two. Eagles on the roof because of American Indian design...
I went to UNLV site and found virtually nothing of exactly when the Bird was placed on the tower except for the lighting effects.
I would think it is the first "Thunderbird" postcard, but puzzled why no signage on either the façade or the tower.
