Brings back memories. A group of us went out in the high heat and dug up many chips and tokens. Jim Folis has some beautiful concrete chunks with imbedded chips and tokens. He & I did a few articles in the club magazine about the dig. Check magazine archives for articles.

After the site was closed off by the owners we negotiated with the MGM top brass to allow a few of us back in specifically to search for more items that would go directly to the club for museum purposes. This permission process involved a lot of time, contact with several executives, and filling out a lot of indemnity forms.We did find a lot more tokens and what seems like a hundred pounds of found items were sent to club storage.
