It's busy but a younger less gamblyer crowd. (Is that a word?) South Point is a good option, but if you want the strip, I think Caesars properties were a little easier to get comps. I've been getting good rates at Park MGM with little play, but you are going to be shocked by food and beverage prices on the strip and there are few easy-to-get-to options around City Center. I know they want to make up for a lost year, but they don't need to make it up in one month.
If I were starting from scratch and staying on the strip, I would stay at Bally's and take advantage of the proximity to Ellis Island, Stage Door and Tuscany. Just be aware, that center strip area smells like Snoop Dog's house. So if you like weed, consider it a bonus. Just got back, but sure wish I was going again!
