~~~ when I mentioned in Jim's thread that I didn't know there was a change made.
The difference I see is that the lack of interest in voting is the lack of caring which shows the Rich Burgel was 100% CORRECT in what he was saying and your assessment of what he was saying was not accurate... and that is exactly why I reposted his posts and asked the question "Could these be the reasons why EISENSTADT..." He was 100% correct in saying what he did and to the point of continuing to apply pressure and shame to those who chose not to vote which, I mentioned "appears to be a pattern" and it is as simple and clear as that.
That system works very well in certain parts of the world and, it's a pity that it works very well within our club... and that is the effect it causes with what we see in memberships' lack of interest in club matters and elections as Ed so correctly made a point of bringing up that the consensus of interest is only in collecting and having a party at the convention and virtually nothing more and, this is what is seen by those who do not care to join a club where not even the membership cares; except maybe a few -- a few to little...!
Greater participation matters and DOES make a difference and, that is NOT an opinion... but rather a FACT.
