I tried to do some research on the Golden State Game Supply Co., mainly looking at old LA directories and newspaper databases.
They first show up in the directories I looked at in 1973 at 1035 S. Olive St.
T. R. King was at that address from 1945 until 1972 and in 1973 they moved to 1245 S. Hope St. I think Golden State may have opened up shop there so as capitalize on the walk-in buyers that T.R.K had there.
I found Golden State listed at 1040 S. Olive in 1976, and they are still at that address in a 1987 LA directory. I can't find anything after that.
The only thing I know about the company is what David Spragg wrote on his website; http://www.marlowcasinochips.com/misc/miscchips.htm
I believe Langworthy owned the HHR mold from the late 1960s to the early 1990s, so they likely had some type of license or permission from Langworthy to use it.
If anybody knows more about the company, I love to hear about it.
