What exactly took place after that is unknown by me though, it has been made quite clear within this BBS and elsewhere, that not all Hall of Fame members vote which, in my head tells me there may be something in the process which should be considered for re-examination.

I will add; the terminology use both here and on the club message board referring to the start to finish process within the Hall of Fame is not accurate; such example.being "nominated" which is not part of the recommended process buy a club member and only that of the Hall of Fame committee and whatever all they do in moving forward in such process.
