I was very excited to add this piece to my Vegas World collection, a hotel key fob with key still attached to room 415.
Bob Stupak’s Vegas World opened in July 1979, originally with one tower and 102 rooms and later added on a second tower for a total of 900 rooms. Being that Vegas World was quite a bit north of the Sahara, which traditionally was the end of the Strip (but DO NOT tell Mr Stupak that, his hotel/casino now marked the northernmost point of the Las Vegas Strip...the heck with what the naysayers say), people would need a place to stay to gamble. After all the last thing a casino boss wants is for his guests to walk or even, heaven forbid, drive away.
Keep on following tomorrow, for more fun stuff.
