Searching quickly through a newspaper database, I could not find a record of a Tropics Club in Imperial, CA, which is a small town on the border with Mexico. There was another Tropics Club in Fresno during the 1950s with cabaret entertainment. It and the Redding Tropics, however, are several hundred miles to the north of Imperial.
