I'm always confused when I hear "How pathetic that a minority of the members vote." I'm just the opposite.

I would think a majority of the club members just want to collect chips, maybe read the magazine and enjoy the hobby. They could care less about who it running the club and probably do not know the candidates. Would we want those members voting? I don't. If they are uninformed, I'd rather they stay out of it.

To me, 24% of the membership is HUGE.
