There are actually a pair of timelines as there were two separate properties involved in this story.
The first Caesars Tahoe opened in 1969 at 168 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nevada... in 1971 Harvey
Gross bought the building and renamed it Harvey's Inn... following Harvey's death, the inn was sold
and reopened in 1985 as the Lakeside Inn... as a result of the Covid pandemic Lakeside Inn closed
its doors in 2020.
The other Caesars Tahoe first opened at 55 Highway 50 in 1978 as a new Del Webb construction
called the Park Tahoe... a year later the property changed hands and was rebranded Caesars Tahoe...
Caesars Entertainment sold the resort in 2005 - it was remodeled and renamed the MontBleu...
have I left anyone out?
