They’ve been implementing this in tranches for about 4-5 months now. I understand the hesitancy and they will undoubtedly lose sellers in the short term however I doubt it’ll have a negative impact on their revenues with the additional processing fees they’ll now be receiving on every single transaction (which is huge for them). I understand why some will abandon ebay for this move but it’s the way of the future and is extremely hard to find an equivalent marketplace besides Amazon (which also has its won pitfalls for hobby sellers).
