~~~ Barbara gets a phone call from Goody's Powders saying she won first place in a sweepstakes for a one week, all expense paid holiday.

We landed in Kingston and I rented a car to drive to Ocho Rios and got as far as Half Moon Bay on washed out roads and started seeing banana fields completely wiped out and all the hotels along the beach with blown out windows and curtains flying...

I pulled into one of the hotels asking if there was any way I can return the car without going back to Kingston. I was lucky, and we were offered a ride to Ocho Rios where we stayed put for six nights... As bad as the roads were, they were driving at unbelievable speeds as I was creeping along.
