Received my new Golden Gate $1 "1F" chip in the mail today.
I noticed the inlays were perfectly medal-aligned (or within 1 mm).

I don't have others to compare it with. Are others medal-aligned too, or was it "luck of the draw" that this one just happened to be oriented like that.

My assumption is that they were made with random alignment between obverse & reverse, and this one just randomly aligned like a medal.

Anyone else notice this?
(Yes, I know this is a question only chip-nerds would ask! )
