Yes if you want to use eBay, you will have to give them your bank account info, as they are doing away with Pay Pal as a middle man.

The good thing about it is it goes directly in and out of your bank account ( in 2 days ) and less paper work----The bad thing is they have complete access to the bank account info you give them.

So I started another checking account for $100 just for eBay and maybe gas for the car.---This way they only have control of my extra small checking account only.
Note: I only started the new checking with $100, but it's up to your needs on how much to start it with.
