I have had to buy a pair of "casino shoes" twice. Neither fit well enough to use later. The second time was when I took my two week drive from Paris to Amsterdam and back. Delta changed my flight at the last second and I didn't get my suitcase for 5 days so all I had was my tennis shoes with me. I searched for discount places to buy the shoes and finally got a pair for $20 or so. I sure wish they would get rid of that rule at European casinos since I never wear anything but tennis shoes.
