It comes down to are you in it for the money (take the $75K and destroy 199 chips) or the enjoyment of the hobby (let everyone who would like a $25 Golden Goose chip have one). I have been offered sort of similar deals before and explained "now that there are so many of them, they aren't worth that much any more". The deals never went through because the seller thought that they could get top dollar for every chip.

How about the guys who bleed collectors by releasing one for sale every few months?
